LunAtico

A great jazz club in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, which is worth a trip from Manhattan. The program includes a great selection of musicians playing modern jazz, soul/funk, ethnic and exotic music and some more experimental projects.

The atmosphere is lovely, the sound is great and it’s a proper restaurant too serving great food and cocktails. In fact the cocktails and desserts alone are worth the trip. Combine that with great music and you have a very pleasant evening. Just keep talking to the minimum during the show.

For most shows there’s no cover, but the tips for musicians are strongly encouraged.

The only puzzling thing is the way the seating works sometimes – just follow what the host tells you and you’ll be fine.
