Probably the most iconic jazz club in New York and maybe in the world, which unfortunately feels more and more like a tourist trap. Come if you really need to experience it and check it off your list or if there’s an artist playing you cannot miss. Just don’t expect any authentic jazz club vibe – go to Village Vanguard for a more historic heritage feel or pick from a great number of other options if you want to see the modern NY jazz scene.

The program is quite eclectic from modern jazz and old school swing, to hip hop and some mainstream pop jazz. The seating is really tight, so if it’s a sold out show (and most of them are), expect some close contact with your neighbors. 

The tickets are $45 plus fee and It’s a $25 dollar minimum spend for food and drinks.
