Smoke is maybe the classiest and the most sophisticated jazz club in NYC. Definitely a place where you can dress up a little and bring your romantic or business partner to impress them. Red velvet curtains, white table cloth, great food, drinks and service, and of course top musicians warrant the slightly higher price. 

It’s one of the most pleasant places in the city to enjoy your favorite musicians and while most jazz legends do multi-day residency, make sure to get the tickets in advance, as they sell out pretty fast. If you can, try to avoid the very last day of the series (usually Sundays), as you can sometimes tell it’s been a long week for the band.

Tickets are usually $40-60 depending on the seats and unless you have the standing tickets, you are expected to order food, which is on the slightly more expensive side, but is definitely worth it.
